The Essential Software Skills class teaches students how to create and format documents using Microsoft Word and Google Docs, create and format spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel, and presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint. The class is geared to users that are new with Microsoft Office. Students are encouraged to Bring Their Own Device.
All classes that I teach at Berkeley Adult School are taught in a HyFlex format. That means that a student can attend in-person or online via Zoom. Students can choose how they attend each session. Thus, one day they can attend via Zoom and a different day come in-person. If need help with Zoom, here are a couple of resources a Zoom Quick Reference Guide, and the Zoom Screen graphic.
