Overview
The yeSWEcan final project is called yeswewill, and we're super excited to launch it as a class-wide hackathon!
yeswewill will be an opportunity for you to build whatever you want (given that it follows our project guidelines) using tools you've learned in this class, tools you already know, and tools you want to learn!
Theme
Our theme is bears help bears 🧸
We want you to find ways to address high-impact problems that affect our community, whether that be the Berkeley community or beyond! We've identified some example tracks that could help spark some ideas (you do not need to use these tracks; these are simply for inspiration):
AI-Powered Creative Tools:
Explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and creativity. Build a tool that assists artists, writers, or musicians in their creative process using AI-generated suggestions, automation, or collaborative platforms.
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) for Accessibility:
Design a software solution that enhances accessibility for individuals with disabilities. This could include applications focused on improving navigation, communication, or daily tasks for people with diverse abilities.
Crisis Management and Response:
Develop a software solution that aids in crisis management and response. This might include applications for natural disaster preparedness, emergency communication, or crowd-sourced assistance during crises.
