Whitcomb, Ryan. “Election CSV File”. Corgis, 2016.https://corgis-edu.github.io/corgis/datasets/csv/election/election.csv
This set of data shows the 2016 election data in each county, it includes voting rate in population, each party’s popular voting rate, etc. The important point of this set of data is that it includes the election situation by county, which will help us to analyze the distribution of election results in a more detailed way. We will use this set of data to analyze the voting tendency of different regions. At the same time, we will use this set of data to create a visual map, so that readers can more clearly feel the preference of people in different regions for the party, which will make readers curious about these regional differences, so as to deepen their understanding of the project reading.
Zillow Editors, House Price datas, Zillowstatic. https://files.zillowstatic.com/research/public_csv
s/zhvi/County_zhvi_uc_sfrcondo_tier_0.0_0.33_sm_sa_month.csv?t=1687195340
The source is house price level data from zillowstatic website that records the house price level in each county. The important point of this data is that it is not rigorous to determine class only by GDP per capita, so we need this set of data to cooperate with our analysis. We used local house price levels to compare the voting preferences of different places to analyze the topic of our study. At the same time, this data can help us create visualization charts to provide readers with a clearer comparison.
