I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in energy and environmental economics. My research focuses on innovation, technological change, and technology adoption with a special emphasis on the clean energy transition.
I am a graduate student affiliate of Berkeley's Energy Institute, and the first economist at Berkeley to earn a Designated Emphasis in Energy Science and Technology alongside my PhD. I graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a BA in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry in 2021.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked in strategy consulting in Houston, TX. I have experience working with major investor-owned electric and gas utilities in California, Texas, and Oklahoma. My dissertation research, which studies the design of cap-and-trade markets, has enabled me to work with policy makers in California, Quebec, and Washington state.
