Education

Research
Matt is currently researching the synthesis, structure, and reactivity of homo- and hetero-bimetallic complexes stabilized by 1,8-naphthyridine ligands.

Experience
Under the supervision of Prof. Bart Bartlett at the University of Michigan, Matt explored the development of inorganic microwave syntheses and the photocatalytic performance of ternary titanates and core-shell structured chalcogenide nanoparticles. Additionally, as a summer research intern at Cornell University Weill Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC, he worked to establish organic synthetic methods for mannose-phosphate dolichol analogues.
