Experience

At the University of Michigan Katie worked in the Bartlett Group on electrochemical and photochemical conversion of biodervied alcohols to aldehydes as an alternative to petrol chemicals. Additionally, Katie did summer internships at Wacker Chemical company, the Phillips group at University College Dublin and 3M. 

Hobbies

Outside of the lab, Katie enjoys Irish step dancing, knitting, reading and hiking.
