Jose studies the synthesis and reactivity of bimetallic complexes.

Bio
Jose was born in Cuba, but moved to the United States at the age of 10. He attended Harvard University and concentrated in Chemistry and Physics. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research in regenerative molecular biology, but fell in love with inorganic synthesis after learning from Dr. Theodore Betley. This passion has brought him to Berkeley as a member of the Tilley Group.
