Franz is investigating the use of zirconocene coupling to access curved nanographenes.

Biography
Franz studies chemistry at Goethe University Frankfurt. As a B.Sc student, Franz worked in Matthias Wagner's group on the synthesis and reactivity of dialuminaanthracenes and aluminafluorenes. In his master's program, he returned to Matthias Wagner's group to investigate cycloadditions of alkynes to diboroaathracenes and their follow-up chemistry.
