Jeffrey Brown (he/him) is an Associate Professor at San Diego State University in the department of counseling and school psychology, where he teaches in the Ed.S. program in school psychology. Dr. Brown also directs the Center for Achieving Black Wellness and Antiracist Education (CABWARE) He studies identity development, systems of discrimination, and mental health in queer communities of color. Dr. Brown has a Ph.D. in school psychology from Tulane University and a B.A. in psychology from Yale University. He was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and enjoys figure skating in his spare time.

Dr. Kelly D. Carrasco is an Assistant Professor in School Psychology in the Department of Psychology at California State University, Fresno. Her research and professional interests include assessment and associated features of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as international practice of school and educational psychology.

Dr. Jennica Paz is the director of fieldwork services and an Associate Professor in the School Psychology Program at San Diego State University. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Paz is passionate about ensuring high-quality and culturally affirming service delivery to local capable youth with histories of adverse life circumstances. Her research and professional interests are related to positive development among CLD youth, strengths-based assessment, trauma and resiliency among foster youth, school-based mental health, school violence/safety, psychometrics, assessment and intervention among CLD students, and strength-focused psychodiagnostic assessment among neurodiverse students.

Dr. Kelly Kennedy is currently an Associate Professor and Director of School Counseling and Psychology (CSP) programs and the coordinator of the NASP and ISPA approved School Psychology program at Chapman University in Orange, CA. Her research and professional interests include best practices in service delivery in alternative education settings, school-based mental health services, and supportive school climates for LGBTQIA youth.
