The SIEPR-Giannini Data Center (SGDC) was created as a joint project between Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, to archive and document existing data sets. It aims to connect existing projects, provide commonly used resources, and make data more accessible for future projects and paper replications as requested by journals. Funding for this project was initially provided by the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) and currently by the Giannini Foundation. Data access is available to several universities, including Northwestern University, Princeton University, the entire UC system, and Washington State University.
