Work in progress!!
Worked on an Opinion Dynamics Project as a sophmore at Harvey Mudd in 2022-2023, supervised by Prof. Heather Zinn-Brooks. Applied a discrete notion of curvature to a simple model of the propagation of opinions in social networks. Proved that curvature bounds in the network dictate how communities can fracture into 'echo-chambers.'
Worked on joint project on skein algebras as a sophmore at Harvey Mudd in 2023, supervised by Prof. Helen Wong. Proved that the center of a generalization of the skein algebra for punctured surfaces contains certain Chebyshev-threaded arcs, analogous to a known theorem for the ordinary skein algebra. Culminated in a talk at the Claremont Topology Seminar.
