Backstory of the App
The name of our AI assistant, Jane, is inspired by famous scientist and environmentalist, Jane Goodall. We want to embody her passion for conservation of the environment. The aim of our app is to improve recycling and the circular economy of materials to reduce waste and pollution and improve environmental outcomes.

Meet the Team
We are a group of UC Berkeley MIDS graduate students in the Class of Winter 2024 with a shared passion for environmental preservation. We created RecycleRight for our final capstone project to showcase how innovative technology can be used to help build a sustainable future.
