Fadi Kafeety

Program Manager

Fadi Kafeety is the Program Manager of the Palestinian and Arab Studies Program at the University of California Berkeley. He was previously the Assistant Director of the Arab-American Educational Foundation Center for Arab Studies at the University of Houston.

Fadi earned his MA in Middle Eastern studies at the Graduate Center, CUNY, and his BA in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies at New York University. He is currently completing a PhD in modern Arab History at the University of Houston

Fadi was a recipient of the 2024-25 ACOR-CAORC Predoctoral Fellowship in Amman, Jordan, and briefly served as Executive Director for the Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development before joining UC Berkeley in the summer of 2025.
