About Me

Hello! I'm Nancy (she/her), a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at UC Berkeley. I am advised by Michael Hutchings. I took my Qualifying Examination in the 2024 Spring semester. Before attending Berkeley, I obtained a Bachelor's degree at the University of Edinburgh and a Masters degree from Trinity College, University of Cambridge.

I am interested in low-dimensional symplectic topology. In particular, I study Floer-theoretic invariants for knots in certain 3-manifolds.
