Good work! You’ve isolated the crystals using the technique shown below.

The video shows a gloved hand holding a graduated test tube filled approximately halfway with cloudy white solution. Another hand holds a glass pipette and inserts it into the test tube. The pipette is pressed firmly against the bottom of the test tube and clear solvent rises into the body of the test tube, leaving behind solution of decreasing volume and increasing opacity in the test tube. This first portion of clear solvent is expelled into a small beaker nearby before the pipette is pressed firmly into the bottom of the test tube and a second portion of clear solvent is removed. The video ends with a close up of the bottom of the test tube, which now contains only a small quantity of white solids.
