In the presence of water, sodium borohydride can decompose to produce flammable hydrogen gas.
Keep the reagent vials closed to minimize exposure to water vapor in the air.
No open flames in the lab room during this experiment.
The sulfuric acid used during clean up is corrosive. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
