In Fall 2023 alongside Vivasvat Vatatmaja and Michael Huang, we(pictured above) were able to create and teach our own undergraduate-run course on Low-Dimensional Topology. This was a part of the Decal class system at UC Berkeley, and our course was partly inspired by a previous student-run course of a similar nature taught by undergraduates Bryce Goldman and Chris Randall on Category Theory. We introduced our (brilliant)students to many of the basic tools used in differential, algebraic, and pointset topology to explore in detail various constructions in knot theory, handlebody theory, and various other topics. We formed a collection of notes as an aid to our students that we hope to make available soon. The Category Theory course has been passed on from class to class and is still being taught by undergraduates to this day. I was given the honor of being a co-instructor for the Category Theory decal in Spring 2023. The Undergraduates in the physics department also have their own course devoted to teaching mathematics and topology to physics students.
