OVERVIEW
This site covers information about California's ongoing wildfire crisis and focuses specifically on two of the most extreme wildfires in California history, both of which occurred in the last 5 years. The 2020 August Complex fire was the largest California wildfire, and the 2018 Camp Fire was the deadliest (1). Wildfires have been an exponentially growing concern and danger in California in recent years for reasons discussed on the site such as climate change and extreme weather patterns.
