In Hawaiian culture, stories and legends were a powerful means of keeping culture alive and passing lessons down through generations. For this exercise, please think about a moʻolelo in your life — it can be a family story, an important lesson, an experience with a significant takeaway for you, or anything else similar to that. 

Practice your own storytelling in a way that has an objective/lesson/takeaway. At a minimum, your story should be 1 page (double-spaced, 12 point font) but you are welcome to write more!
