Research Interests

Our research spans a broad range of topics in ecohydrology. In this lab, we combine analytic methods with remote sensing, cutting-edge computational techniques, and field and laboratory experiments to describe previously unknown mechanisms between soil, canopy, and atmospheric water dynamics. Our research goals are to better understand the link between water and carbon in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum in the context of a changing climate and determine how ecohydrology may apply to practical problems such as the hydrological impacts of land-use change.
