Entomology Club is a fun group of bug-lovers who come together to explore interesting topics in entomology and arthropod biodiversity! In addition to weekly meetings, we aim to facilitate hands-on learning and practice in everything from collection and identification to raising live insects.
Fall 2027 meetings are 6:00-7:00pm on Mondays in Wellman 306!
The first meeting will take place in the second full week of classes, 9/7.
For previous semesters' presentations and other information, check out Fall 2022 Resources.
We'd like to highlight Essig Brunch, a weekly seminar series run by graduate students in Arthropod Science! It's open to the public and features local and visiting researchers presenting a wide range of entomology topics, so definitely check it out!
In past semesters, the seminars have been held on Fridays from 10-11am, both in-person in 2063 VLSB and on Zoom. Campus COVID regulations strongly recommends all people to be masked within VLSB. Please contact the department at CalEntomology@berkeley.edu if you would like to give a talk or receive announcements for upcoming talks.
