What is Aimbot?

The end goal of Aimbot is to create a system that can fire a projectile at a moving target.

Our project aims to tackle several interesting and challenging problems.

• Tracking target position without the use of AR tags or depth cameras. We thought that using AR tags would make the problem trivial, and they are not terribly practical in a realistic scenario.
• Trajectory prediction for a moving target. Using the past positions of the target, the robot needs to predict and move to a position at a future time, while considering the time taken for the robot's arm to execute its motion plan.

Real world applications

Clearly, the project is of interest to the military. Robots that can detect and automatically aim can be useful for anti-aircraft guns, missile defense, and more.
