Chang Liu
Chang is a mechanical engineering major interested in control of robotics, he is well versed in Solidworks and machine learning.
Liu Chang is responsible for the object recognition work of artificial neural networks, by building artificial neural networks to identify recyclable non-recyclable garbage. At the same time to help the mechanical clamping work, the design of clamping mode to help accurate clamping work.
Haoming Zhao
Haoming is a MEng student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He has experience in CADing and programming, and is interested in robotics.
Haoming assisted in testing the neural network and supported testing the code and system operations.Â
Keith Tsang
Keith is a mechanical engineering M.ENG student who studied undergrad at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He is interested in robotics product design. He had experience in mechanical design, CAD, and prototyping skills.
Keith helped with renting cameras, bringing equipment for the project, testing the robot, and making the slides for presentation.
Siyuan Zhai
Siyuan is a 4th-year EECS student interested in robotics and computer vision.
Developed Python scripts to capture images from the RealSense camera, upload them to Google Colab for classification, and retrieve the processed results. Interprets classification data and commands the Sawyer robotic arm to move and sort items accordingly.
