We are a group of fourth-year undergraduates at UC Berkeley that created Drawyer as our final project for EECS C106A (Introduction to Robotics).
Vaibhav is a senior CS and Math major who has taken CS 189, EE 16B, & Math 110, and is taking CS 170. He worked on the path planning and drawing/actuation components (having Sawyer physically draw the image) together with Heath. He took the image at 4 AM in the morning while working on this project so please don't judge (⌯˃̶᷄ ﹏ ˂̶᷄⌯)
Rhea is a senior Astrophysics and CS major who has taken CS 188, CS 189, & CS 170, and has previous experience in robotics and engineering teams. She worked on the image processing: applying edge detection on the input image to convert it to one Sawyer can draw.
Heath is a senior EECS major who is familiar with CAD software and 3D printing. He is also a digital artist with some optimization programming experience. He worked on the path planning and drawing/actuation components (having Sawyer physically draw the image) together with Vaibhav.
Shreya is a senior EECS major who is currently taking EE 120 and CS 188, and has prior experience working with robots as part of FIRST robotics during high school. She worked on the image capture: getting the input face image from a webcam and saving it as a JPG.
