❇️ 3: Generative Art Piece
Create a generative* art piece.
*That is, a piece where the output varies (isn't always the same).
This might be a piece that changes in response to direct or indirect interaction, using probability or randomness, over time, as a result of something happening in the world, as a combination of those things, or due to something else entirely.
SUGGESTIONS:
Using p5.js (a JavaScript library) on OpenProcessing.org or the p5js web editor is recommended. Openprocessing + p5js is what we will cover in class. But, this is not required.
You are encouraged to consider unique formats (e.g. projection, mobile/touchscreen interactions, games, generative plotting or printing)
Elements you might use to generate variation could include:
button presses, mouse movement, time (ex: using frameCount), microphone sound input, randomness or psuedorandomness (ex: using random() or other functions that generate numbers), the weather
Elements you could vary in response could include:
color, composition, shape, density, amount of randomness, movement, sound, size, speed
