Koushik Sen is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interest lies in Software Engineering, Programming Languages, and Formal methods. He is interested in developing software tools and methodologies that improve programmer productivity and software quality.

Hi, I'm Tyler, and I'm in my 4th/5th year of undergrad majoring in Applied Math and CS. I research term rewriting systems for database query optimization as part of the Hydro Project, and I intend to pursue a PhD in programming languages. Before Berkeley, I worked at Google on Arm servers and search performance. My hobbies include making espresso and singing in choir.
