Cloud at Cal is on a mission to make our education accessible to everybody. We're developing a platform to bridge the gap between our internal education program and the general public.
Education is fundamental to understanding problems and devising solutions to them. Aside from an unlimited learning resources budget for all members, Cloud at Cal has an education program that empowers students to learn by doing. Students take a problem and learn the steps they need to take to solve it.
Instead of a rigid curriculum, students learn whatever they need to learn in order to solve their real-world problems—we learn by doing

Our DeCal
The Cloud Computing DeCal is an opportunity to learn about one of the hottest trends in the tech industry, cloud computing. The course will introduce students to the basics of cloud computing, as well as the major players in the industry: Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.
In this class, we will explore the true power and scale of cloud technologies and their necessity in almost every major global interaction, and get our hands dirty with our own project taking advantage of the cloud.
