Part 1: Too Close to the edge!

You develop Plate 1E and visualize it under a UV lamp.

The spots on Plate 1E are too close to the edges of the plate. Solvents travel differently at the edges of the plate, which means that Rf values of spots within a 3 mm of the edge will be inaccurate. Try spotting your plate again, this time being careful to space your spots such that none are too close to the sides.
