Spring 2024

About

This course is designed to explore the multifaceted challenges facing African economies and to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of strategies and policies that can be employed to regain control over economic resources, foster sustainable development, and ultimately reclaim economic power. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will gain the tools and insights necessary to contribute to the economic transformation of the African continent.  Some background in economics might be beneficial but is not required.

This course will be facilitated by Niayomi Morrison, a senior Political Economy Student, during the Spring 2024 semester under the faculty supervision of Professor Edward Miguel.
