"Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today”. - Thich Nhat Hanh
“You can cut all the flowers but you cannot stop Spring from coming." - Pablo Neruda
In these difficult times, school leaders are facing conditions and decisions that they may have never faced before. As they continue to center equity for our most vulnerable populations, they may feel burnt out, troubled, and alone. They need compassion and support to keep moving forward. School leaders need hope.
In 21CSLA, we help leaders sustain and cultivate hope that creates more equitable and just schools. As equity leadership coaches, we commit to provide space for leaders to breathe, heal, build relationships, and reimagine their practice. Together, we will answer the call of Coaching for Equity: Cultivating Hope in Troubled Times.
Leadership Coaching for Equity
“21CSLA's Leadership Coaching for Equity is an intensive, highly individualized form of professional learning that is rooted in principles of adult learning and driven by the needs and context of the leader. Through coaching, leaders work to transform their dispositions, behaviors, and communications by rethinking, re-strategizing, and reflecting to create more equitable learning environments that ultimately improve success for systemically underserved students.”
