Location:  Berdahl Auditorium, 105 Stanley Hall, Berkeley, CA

Public Transit:

For those of you coming from the East Bay or San Francisco, public transit may be your best option, as public parking on campus is limited.  Take BART to the Downtown Berkeley station.  Campus shuttles are not active on the weekend, but Stanley Hall is a 0.8 mile walk uphill from the BART station, or you may access it via AC Transit.  Board route 51B, 7,  or 79 on the West Side of Shattuck Avenue at Allston Way, 1 block South of the BART station, and exit the bus on the corner of Durant and College Ave.  Stanley Hall is 0.5 mi. East of this stop.  Please allow sufficient time to transfer between BART and AC Transit, as weekend buses do not run as frequently.

Parking:

The closest parking lot to Stanley Hall is the Stadium Parking Garage beneath Maxwell Family Field, 0.3 mile from Stanley.  This lot is not a campus lot, so we have no control over availability and pricing.  

If the Stadium Lot is full, additional visitor parking may be available at the following campus lots:

• Upper Hearst Structure, each level has a separate entrance, lot accessible from either Hearst Ave or La Loma Ave (a 0.2 mile walk to Stanley Hall), 

• Lower Hearst Structure (a 0.3 mile walk to Stanley Hall), 

• Underhill Garage, accessible from either Haste St. or Channing Way  (a 0.7 mile walk to Stanley Hall).  

Note that these lots may not be marked as having visitor parking availability on all campus maps, but on weekends, hourly public parking is available in all campus parking areas unless otherwise indicated on parking control signs.  Please observe all posted parking signs for the most accurate information.
