Berhampore School is a decile 7 U4 contributing state primary school with a current roll of 300 pupils.

Our children come from over 20 different ethnic and cultural groups. A large number of our students are from non-English speaking backgrounds. The school is very proud of the successful integration of such a diverse community and views this diversity as a key asset to learning.

We believe strongly in inclusion and work to support neurodiverse students and students with learning needs access school, learning and the NZ Curriculum.

We work to include these values in our everyday teaching and learning. We encourage the students to show these values at school as part of the Positive Behaviour for Learning Programme (PB4L).
