ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY TOOLS TO SUPPORT DYSLEXIA AND READING DISABILITIES

This session is aimed at empowering educators, parents, and professionals with the knowledge and resources to effectively support individuals with dyslexia and reading difficulties. Participants will explore a wide array of assistive technology tools specifically designed to enhance reading comprehension, fluency, and overall literacy skills. TECHNOLOGY TO ENGAGE AND DIFFERENTIATE LESSONS FOR ALL LEARNERS

NOTE-TAKING TOOLS FOR STUDENTS WITH EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING WEAKNESSES

Taking notes helps students focus on information that’s important, increases comprehension, and supports memory. Students with Executive Function challenges have difficulty with staying focused, organization, and managing time. In this workshop, we will go over various strategies and note-taking tools that can be used in the classroom.

Every creator has a story to tell. In this workshop, we will go over various ways students and teachers can create learning journals, digital portfolios, and interactive stories. The straightforward interface of Book Creator allows students of any age to combine text, images and even videos! This is a perfect tool for enhancing student engagement through story creation.
