The Bergen County Board of Commissioners and Board of Technical Education have made a major commitment to Emergency Medical Services training in Bergen County. This modern training center is equipped with the latest computerization and presentation equipment and state-of-the-art demonstration and teaching aids.

The Fall 2025 EMT-Basic class will begin on September 3, 2025/September 4, 2025 and will finish on February 9, 2026/February 10, 2026.

Tuition (if you live in Bergen County) is $1,500 + $265 in books. If you do not live in Bergen County, there is a $25 additional Out of County Fee that applies. The tuition is due at the time of registration. We do not offer any payment plans.

You are required to attend on select weekends also. You will attend either a Saturday or a Sunday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. This is determined based on your Homeroom assignment.
