🌲Week of December 8th 🌲
Attendance Challenge!
Students of the Month November: Congratulations to our students of the month.
ELA: Miley McMillen
Math: Aubrey D’Agostino-Leadership
SS: Kyle Keane
SCI: Michael Rinehart
Pool Waiver Forms: Pool waiver forms are due Friday, December 12th. The form is good for the entire school year.Â
Planetarium: As part of the science curriculum, we will be visiting the planetarium on December 18th.
Dressing for the weather: Â We will still go outside as the temperatures drop as long as its above freezing. We have had many students complain about the cold who are not dressed for the weather. Students can keep a hoodie or sweatshirts in their locker to wear along with any jacket they bring. We just ask that students take them home at the end of the week to be washed.
Second Quarter Reward: The students will work towards earning a reward in the second quarter. Here are the stipulations to earn the reward. As of right now we are looking to have a swim party here at the middle school on December 17th.Â
For the Second quarter, the criteria will include the following:
1.   No F’s in any of their 4 core classes: Math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science
2.  Have Zero (0) After School Detentions, Zero (0) Saturday School and Zero (0) In/Out of School Suspensions.
3.  No more than 5 behavior reflections for the quarter
3 reflections = 1 Team detention
4.  No more than 2 team detentions.
5.  Have no more than 6 “missing” assignments total for the team.
(This applies to math, social studies, ela, and science)
The criteria will start on Tuesday, October 14th
Chromebook sign out: As long as a parent emails Mr. Rivera or Miss Raabe, a student can sign out their chromebook to take home to complete missing assignments.
Test Corrections: It is up to the students to contact their teachers about test corrections. The students will be asked to perform tasks that show mastery before they can retake a test. The test retake has to be done 1 week from the original test.
