Mike Pearl - Team Leader - Social Studies Teacher
Mike has been a professional educator for over 31 years. He has taught Social Studies for all 31 years in 6th grade. He has also been a Team Leader for 28 years. Mike is married to Lori Pearl and has three children Ben(25), Jon(23), and Zachary (20).
Kathi Wrost - Science
This will be Kathi's 34th and final year teaching. Year 26 in the Berea City School District. She was an intervention specialist at Midpark High School and the junior high. She has taught 7th and 8th grade science, and this will be her fourth year in 6th grade. Kathi is married, and they have three children.

Katie Kall - Intervention Specialist
Katie has been teaching in the Berea City School District since 2020 (BPE, BC). This year will be her 18th year teaching as an Intervention Specialist and has worked with students in multiple grades, Preschool through 12th grade throughout her career. Katie is married to her husband Andrew. They have one daughter, Maggie, who is two and two dogs Max and Millie.
Matt Petrus- Math Teacher
Matt has been teaching in the Berea for 30 years. He has taught 4th, 1st, and 5th grade at Parknoll Elementary. He has been teaching math in 6th grade for 11 years. Matt is married and lives in Berea. He has 3 children Jacob(25), Lucas(22), and Sydnie(17).
Sharon Hamilton - English Language Arts
Sharon has been teaching in the Berea City School District for 21 years. She taught 8th grade math, Algebra, and currently teaches 6th grade English Language Arts. At home, Sharon enjoys spending time with her son, Reed (15), and daughter, Adele (14).
May Williams - Intervention Specialist
May is a second-year Intervention Specialist for the Berea City School District. She is engaged to her fiancé, Dave. She is excited for what the school year has in store!
