ARKANSAS STATE THESPIAN OFFICERSHIP
The State Thespian Officer position is a highly competitive and honorable role in Thespian Society. STOs work with theatre educators from across the state to ensure theatre education continues progressing in the right direction. Additionally, state level officers run Arkansas' annual Thespian Festival and regularly attend meetings with the Arkansas Thespian board.
One candidate from each troupe has the opportunity to spend a year campaigning for the position. Each candidate must respond thoughtfully to the prompt "why is theatre advocacy important".
