Vaughn Elementary will welcome kindergarten through fourth-grade students in the fall of 2022. The building rests in the Vaughn community where a school was constructed in 1887 and existed until 1960. Vaughn Presbyterian Church is also located there and, at one time, a thriving community lived among apple orchards. It has been a delight to hear the stories of Vaughn students from decades ago and pay homage to the Vaughn community as the past and present intersect.
