Online registration via PowerSchool has streamlined our registration process and allows parents/guardians to register all students by using one family login. Parents will be able to pay via InTouch online or by sending a check to the appropriate school building for Registration Fees. Meal deposits will be paid via Linq Connect, as in the past.
Please complete steps 1-4 below to complete online registration for your child/children.

Families New to Benton

If you completed the "Pre-registration" for preschool or kindergarten in the spring, you do not need to contact Ms. Hauschild.

Preschool - 12th Grade Registration Steps

PowerSchool Parent Account Access & Enrollment Express Instructions
Do you have a PowerSchool Parent Account? (If you registered a student(s) las year you should have an account already).
Yes
If you already have a parent login for your student(s), go ahead and log into your PS Parent Access Account and complete/update the Enrollment Express Registration information for each of your student(s). Use the Enrollment Express Instructions below.
No
If you don't have a PowerSchool Parent Access Account, (this should be for new families to the district only) follow the instructions that were recently emailed to you. This email included important information regarding your students' access code. Retrieve the access code and create your PowerSchool Parent Account now. Once you have created a PS Parent Account (that includes all of the student(s) in your family) go ahead and log into PowerSchool and complete/update the Enrollment Express Instructions below for each of your student(s).

After you have logged into PowerSchool please complete the following steps for each of your students. You must use your PARENT ACCESS ACCOUNT, you CANNOT use the username and password that your child uses to check their grades in PowerSchool. You will not be able to see all of the forms (A-G) or submit the forms if you are using your child's .
Pick the child you want to complete the forms for (named tabs in the top left corner of the page)
Click "Forms" on the left hand side of the screen
Click the "Enrollment" tab at the top
There are several short forms to submit. Start by clicking on "A- Demographics"
Fill out the form then click the blue submit button.
Click the next form to be completed by selecting "Form B - Address" Submit that form.
Continue completing forms until you have submitted Forms A through G.
Click on the "Home Language Survey," the last tab at the very bottom, of the Navigation column on the left hand side of the screen. Fill out the form and then click on the blue "Save" Button.
Complete the above steps, 1-8, for each of your students, by clicking on the next child's tab at the top of the page.

You will use In Touch, our payment processing system, to pay for registration costs. You will access InTouch through your PowerSchool Parent Access Account and then pay accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE When parents pay fees associated with Registration, they WILL NOT be charged any transaction or credit card fees.
ANYTIME parents deposit money into their child's lunch account online through Linq Connect ( Linqconnect.com) they WILL be charged the applicable transaction and credit card fees.
REGISTRATION FEE WAIVER
If you recently received a letter or email stating your student(s) are eligible for a meal benefit status of free or reduced, you could be eligible for a fee waiver.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT DIRECTIONS

After you have logged into your PowerSchool Parent Access Account please complete the following steps.
Click "Purchases and Payments" on the left hand side of the screen.
The first screen will ask "Who are you shopping for?" Click on the name of your child.
The second screen will appear. On this page you will FIRST - Select any "Optional Fees" that you want to purchase. This includes the K-12 Activity Ticket or Instrument Rental. SECOND - Click on the Dark Pink "View" button.
The third screen will appear. This screen is the "Fines / Fees for your child's name" You will then check mark the boxes of the items you are paying for and click on the blue "Pay Selected Fines/Fees" button.
"Your Cart" screen will appear. Click on the "CONTINUE SHOPPING" button if you have additional children to pay registration fees for. You will do this for each child. (Click on "Continue Shopping" and then click on "Your Family" and pick the next child) As you do this it will add items to your "Checkout" shopping cart. Once fees for all children have been "selected" you will click on the "Checkout" shopping cart in the upper right hand corner and finish your transaction.
Please note: The second screen has reporting options that you may find useful in the future. You can reprint payment receipts (if needed later on for tax purposes) and you will be able to see your whole purchase history.
Once you have completed your payment, you may sign out of your account and move on to Step 4, Complete Building Forms.
***IF YOU NEED TO PURCHASE AN ACTIVITY TICKET FOR YOUR CHILD THAT ATTENDS CENTRAL LUTHERAN OR YOU NEED TO PURCHASE ADULT /PARENT PASSES, THEY WILL NEED TO BE PRUCHASED SEPARATELY. DO NOT TRY AND ADD THEM TO YOU BENTON STUDENT'S ACCOUNT.

Adding Funds to Your Meal Account
Meal account deposits can be made by cash or check at any school building or can be deposited online.
Online payments for meals are accepted through the Linq Connect Family Portal.
Visit http://linqconnect.com to login, connect your students, see their transactions, add meal funds instantly, or set up recurring payments.

By clicking on the links below you will find required forms, grade-specific information, school supply lists, and links for signing up for open house (where applicable). Please go to the building link where each student will be attending and complete all required forms. This will complete your registration process!
