For each Jamboard you buy, you need one management license. Your existing license(s) can be renewed annually — either directly from BenQ Store or Jamboard authorized reseller. Licenses cost USD600 per year.

If you choose not to renew the annual license for your board(s), you will have the ability to either deactivate your boards (factory reset) or move the boards into a “Standalone Unlicensed Mode”. In this mode, the board will no longer have collaborative functionality or association with your G Suite domain. You will not be able to take ownership or share Jams with others. Without the license, the board(s) will no longer be eligible for software or device support through Google. You will still be able to author Jams and export them to PDF. More information here.

A3: Not initially. If the end user insists, the request can be made to BenQ. Otherwise, the standard process is they can only renew the number of licenses they purchased within each region.

A4: You will find the current Jamboard subscription quantity and support end date in the Billing section in the G Suite Admin console. You may find it useful to consider the number of activated Jamboards from the Jamboard Admin console when evaluating the renewal quantity.

A5: There is only one (1) support end date per domain. Your cost was prorated at time of purchase.

A6: Your support end date will be the same as your original support end date. A purchase after the grace period ends will result in a new order and a new support end date. Renewal during or before the grace period is optimal so the Jamboard will not go through a period of being inoperable.

To continue to receive support, OTAs, and the full collaborative Jamboard Hardware experience, it is expected that end user renews the annual management license.
