Sending & Receiving a Referral

There's a lot of reasons you may send or receive a referral in real estate. Let's say your aunt lives in Illinois, and wants to sell her house. Unless you're also currently licensed in Illinois, you won't be able to help her sell but you can help her find a great agent and still earn some income. If you get a lead in another part of the state, or a commercial lead and you don't sell commercial real estate, you can always refer it!
