River Jenkins
River (she/her) is a graduate of the SoundMind Institute Psychedelic Facilitator Training Program. She has twelve years of experience working with psychedelic medicines in various contexts and she believes deeply in the potential of psychedelic medicines to nurture and expand the individual and collective psyches. She is invested in providing high-quality, individualized support for folks exploring and healing with psychedelic substances.
In addition to psilocybin facilitation River is a harm reduction worker and psychedelic supporter as a supervisor with Fireside Project, the world’s only psychedelic support line. River holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oregon State University with focuses in Cognitive Science and Developmental Psychology and she is currently a research associate in clinical trials for psilocybin- and MDMA-assisted psychotherapies.
When she isn’t supporting the psychedelic community, you can find her building her off-grid permaculture community in the high desert, kayaking, or exploring the forests and coastlines of the Pacific Northwest with her three dogs.
Ryan Reid
Ryan has been a key figure in Oregon's legal and licensed psilocybin movement, helping establish two of the state's first licensed service centers. His journey started with a personal experience of psilocybin's therapeutic benefits, which led him to co-found Bendable Therapy in early 2023. This non-profit provides access and scholarships for those seeking psilocybin services for mental health. As an active facilitator, Ryan guides participants through their transformative experiences, emphasizing a client-centered approach that prioritizes personal insight and tailored practices.
Graduating from SoundMind Institute's program in June 2023, Ryan's commitment to safety and ethical practice is evident in his advisory role on the Healing Advocacy Fund safety committee. He regularly shares his expertise at national psychedelic conferences, advocating for sustainable and accessible psilocybin businesses. A licensed engineer and business owner in Bend, Oregon, Ryan integrates his systematic approach with his facilitation work, ensuring safety and stability. Outside his professional life, he practices mindfulness meditation and finds inspiration in nature, reflecting his grounded and healing approach to therapy.
