Ryan Reid
Ryan has been a key figure in Oregon's legal and licensed psilocybin movement, helping establish two of the state's first licensed service centers. His journey started with a personal experience of psilocybin's therapeutic benefits, which led him to co-found Bendable Therapy in early 2023. This non-profit provides access and scholarships for those seeking psilocybin services for mental health. As an active facilitator, Ryan guides participants through their transformative experiences, emphasizing a client-centered approach that prioritizes personal insight and tailored practices.
Graduating from SoundMind Institute's program in June 2023, Ryan's commitment to safety and ethical practice is evident in his advisory role on the Healing Advocacy Fund safety committee. He regularly shares his expertise at national psychedelic conferences, advocating for sustainable and accessible psilocybin businesses. A licensed engineer and business owner in Bend, Oregon, Ryan integrates his systematic approach with his facilitation work, ensuring safety and stability. Outside his professional life, he practices mindfulness meditation and finds inspiration in nature, reflecting his grounded and healing approach to therapy.
Emily Hepp
For the past 17 years, I've dedicated myself to the field of nursing, specializing in various facets of patient care. From case management for oncology and palliative care patients, primary nursing on an Acute Medical Unit, to my most recent role as a Certified Wound and Ostomy nurse, my journey has been one of constant learning and deepening understanding.
In my practice, I've come to understand that the path towards healing is deeply personal. I believe in working closely and collaboratively with clients, creating individualized plans that empower them to understand their own role in their healing journey.
My approach is grounded in the importance of establishing trust and creating a safe space for deep work. I'm comfortable sitting with others in vulnerable and uncomfortable situations, guiding them to see their innate healing potential.
Having completed my psilocybin facilitation certification through the Entheogen Institute, I bring a unique perspective on the healing potential of psychedelics, both from a scientific and mystical standpoint. I'm passionate about helping others understand this potential, emphasizing not just the journey itself, but also the integral importance of preparation and integration.
Beyond my nursing practice, I'm also a certified yoga instructor and a daily practitioner of yoga and meditation. These practices have deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and furthered my commitment to holistic healing.
In every aspect of my life, I bring empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others discover their own path to healing.
