ABOUT US

The Bear's Cave is a student-based enterprise (SBE) for our Bend High DECA Chapter. It provides hands-on learning opportunities for students that are enrolled in business classes. DECA is a business club that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. 

The Bear's Cave offers Bend High Lava Bear gear for sale through our school store, pop-up shops, and this online store. Students create new clothing designs in the spring in their Marketing I class and are responsible for the merchandising of the store in the fall in Business Management class. The Bear's Cave is open M-F and all shift managers and sales clerks are current BSHS business students. 

All the profits from our sales go towards supporting students in the DECA club. Students are able to earn free or low-cost trips to DECA's State Competition in Portland Oregon and DECA's International Competition in Orlando, Florida (2023).
