10/9 - Maple Grove continued their unbeaten streak, drawing against Falconer/Cassadaga 1 - 1. Despite falling behind early, the boys in red fought back on less-than-ideal pitch conditions, when Eli Moore scored his 19th goal of the year from outside the 18-yard box in the second quarter. The rest of the game was tightly contested with each team having scoring chances. In the second half of overtime, goalie Nathan Cresanti came up huge to stop a Falconer striker in the six-yard area from grabbing the victory in the waning seconds of the game and preserving the tie.

9/20 - The Red Dragons got all they needed to win in the first half to cruise to another victory, defeating North Collins 2-0. Keegan Rishel scored in the third minute to open scoring and Eli Moore added one in the 19th minute to give MG a two goal lead. Goalie Nathan Cresanti stopped a penalty kick to maintain the lead and secure the win. This game marked the fourth time in six games that both Rishel and Moore have scored in the same game. This was also Captain Alex MacCallum's last modified soccer game as he will join the varsity team. Good Luck, Alex!

9/18 - Maple Grove continued their league dominance with a convincing 4 to 1 victory over Westfield/Brocton. The dynamic forward duo of Eli Moore and Keegan Rishel opened scoring in the 15th and 31st minutes respectfully. Freshman Alex MacCallum added a goal from outside the eighteen yard box in the 39th minute and Jonah Foley added one in the 43rd.

9/13 - In a tightly contested game, the Dragons won their home opener against the Frewsburg Bears 2-1. With both teams held scoreless in the first half, the game seemed in the balance. With about 10 minutes left in the game, Frewsburg struck to break the tie. The hometown boys didn't give up though. Pressing forward on the attack, MG was able to tie the game in the 56th minute with a goal from Eli Moore, his fourth of the season. A tie wouldn't be good enough for the boys in red though. In the 60th minute, Keegan Rishel popped in his second goal of the year to snatch the victory and bringing the season record to 3-0-1.

9/11 - The modified boys' team continued their winning ways with a convincing 7-0 win in Silver Creek. Fletcher Demink started the scoring in the 10th minute, and Keegan Rishel scored his first of the year just four minutes later. Eli Moore scored in the 22nd after a wonderful combinatino play from Brennan Moore and Ryan Fitzgerald set it up. Benny Brown scored shortly thereafter, and Demink scored in the 32nd minute to up his team leading goal total to 4 this year. Nathan Cresanti scored his first as a modified player in a rare field outing and Eli Moore capped the scoring in the 39th.
