Hello! My name is Roderick Bannerman. I grew up in the UK and have a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Master's degree in Geophysics, both from Imperial College in London. I have taught science at Bellville High School since 2018-2019. Before teaching, I worked in the oil industry for twenty years, as an exploration geophysicist.

I love science. Science is not just facts, it’s a way to think. Science empowers us to understand the world better, and can make our lives richer in many ways. I’m really excited to share this with my students.
