About Me

Teaching Experience

Hi there! I'm Mrs. Jennings. I have been an English teacher at BJHS for 12 years. Before that, I worked as a teaching assistant in Del Valle, TX. I have always taught English here and I love it! I'm passionate about having fun and learning a lot. 

Family

I have two kids and a bonus daughter. Timothy is my oldest and Savannah is my little girl. They are a handful and I love to talk about them, so prepare yourself! 

Hobbies

I am honestly a T.V. watcher or book reader. I don't really go places and do things. I'm a home body and love to sit in my chair and relax. Between reading books and watching T.V., I get to escape and enjoy a few minutes away from reality. Sometimes, that's really awesome. 

Teaching Philosophy

I was meant to be in the classroom. Connecting with students each year has brought me so much happiness. I'm big on learning while having fun. If you aren't having fun, then I'm not either.
