WHAT IS IT?
WHAT IS IT?
YouTube is a video sharing site where you can watch, like, share or comment on videos as well as upload your own. Teachers can easily create tutorial videos or find tutorial videos made by other creators and share these resources with their students. Many teachers are already using YouTube to flip their classrooms and have students learn new content at home and use class time to work on projects.
Examples for classroom use include:
Video playlists of personally created or site based videos
Private or Public lesson uploads
Video project submissions
Book Trailers
Tutorial videos
RESOURCES
Students can view videos that are deemed educational by YouTube. This means you may have to test the videos with students to make sure they are viewable. You may also use another video platform like Discovery Education or Learn360, or create your own videos using a screen-recording platform such as Screencastify or Loom.
