Adding topics helps keep assignments, questions, and materials organized so students can easily find what they need.
How to Add a Topic:
Go to your Classwork tab.
Click + Create.
Choose Topic
Type a name for your topic (ex: Unit 1: Colonies, Homework, Resources).
Click Add.
Organizing with Topics:
When creating an assignment, material, or question, you can select which Topic it belongs under.
Drag and drop items within the Classwork page to reorder topics or move items between them.
💡 Tip: Use consistent topic names (like “Unit 1,” “Unit 2,” “Bell Ringers”) so students always know where to look.
Every class needs a place to store resources, links, class rules, syllabus, etc. Create a special topic for resources and class materials and keep it near the top for easy access. Be sure to name these files clearly so that students know exactly what is there.
