Google Classroom does not have a parent view/mode or parent accounts. As a parent/guardian, you can stay up-to-date with your child's classroom progress in 2 ways with Google Classroom.
Option 1: “Over the shoulder”: ask your student to log into Google Classroom on their Chromebook, smartphone, or home computer and show you their work, grades, teacher feedback, and communications in Classroom. We encourage you to use this opportunity to discuss your student’s work with them as you both review it.
Option 2: Email summaries from Google Classroom: daily or weekly messages that contain information for your student:
Guardian Summaries include:
Missing Work: Work not turned in when the summary was sent.
Upcoming Work: Work that's due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or that's due in the upcoming week (fr weekly emails).
Class Activity: Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers.
Guardian Summaries DO NOT include:
Grades: No individual grades are included in the summary report.
Stream: Guardians cannot see the class Stream.
Classwork: Guardians cannot see the Classwork page.
People: Guardians cannot see other people in the class.
Attachments: Guardians cannot see posted attachments.
